Dr. Rondell E. Bailey, Education Director for the Harris Health System (HHS), Human Resources Learning and Resource Center is the speaker for the monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church which is set for Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall the church on 204 Dooley Street. Dr. Bailey joined HHS in 2000 and moved up the ranks. In his current position, he is a skilled facilitator with expertise in a variety of areas including learning and development, employee engagement, talent management, leadership development, employee orientation and onboarding, teambuilding, and customer service. His previous services with Harris Health System included as the Operations Manager–Business and Staff Development, Ancillary and Support Services and the Pharmacy Staff Development & Recruitment Manager in the Department of Pharmacy, Harris Health System in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bailey has a wonderful rapport with people and has been recognized for his ability to connect with others. He uses his excellent communication skills to help convey concepts and is a skilled practitioner in the use of collaborative, learner-centered techniques.
He holds a Doctorate degree in Higher Education, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration from “The Jewel of 3rd Ward” - Texas Southern University and a high school diploma from Jack Yates High School, respectively.
Bailey also holds membership in several social, civic and professional organizations to include
Research Association of Minority Professors (RAMP), Association for Talent Development
Texas Southern University Alumni Association, and the Jack Yates National Alumni Association.
Dr. Bailey loves his family. Most of all, he loves the Lord! He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was baptized at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. D. Leon Everett, II. Dr. Bailey is an “adopted member” of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church (Houston) – where his mother is a longtime member and Dr. Max Miller is the pastor. Currently, Dr. Bailey is an active member of the New Faith Church of Houston where Dr. Andre J. Lewis is the pastor and Dr. T.R. Williams, Sr. is the founder and pastor emeritus.

St. Francis of Assisi will also host the Houston Foodbank/Kraft Mobile Food distribution at the church on 204 Dooley Street on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The free fruits and vegetables distribution is available to anyone in need in Waller County Area. No qualifications required. Patrons are asked to bring bags, boxes or carts to carry the food items. Persons will be also able to sign up for other social services, i.e. SNAPS. CHIP and TANF, etc.) Please share this information with persons you feel will benefit from the service. Thanks for your assistance.
Members of the community are also invited to attend the weekly Bible Study on Sundays at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship service at 11:00 a.m.
